About the project

The EuroPhenome resource has been developed as a central point for holding phenome data from the large-scale European phenotyping projects. It has brought together biologists and database managers and developers from the main European mouse clinics in its EuroPhenome working group. In addition, there are a number of phenome databases being developed worldwide at the moment. The InterPhenome working group has been established under PRIME to bring together people working on these to explore methods to link these databases, set standards for the data and set up mechanism to search across these databases. This will allow all researchers access to these databases from one centralised point.

The EuroPhenome resource is being developed by the MGU Informatics team at MRC Harwell in collaboration with GSF, ICS, Sanger and EMBL Monterotondo.
